Job summary

Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA seeks married couples as Full-time Flex Houseparents. They live in on-campus student homes, caring for 8–13 students and fostering a structured, family-like environment that supports academic, emotional, and social development.

Responsibilities include daily supervision, managing routines, administering medications, driving to activities, leading devotions and chapel, and budgeting.

Qualifications

• Experience working or volunteering with youth.
• Two-spouse role for couples legally married for at least two years.
• Both spouses must be age 27 or older.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid U.S. driver's license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Providing daily supervision and mentorship
• Managing household routines and student schedules
• Administering medications and ensuring student wellness
• Driving students to activities and planning developmental/recreational activities
• Leading daily devotions and accompanying students to Sunday Chapel
• Overseeing budgeting and household reporting
