University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) is seeking a fullscope Academic Generalist OBGYN to join our nationally recognized department, offering a balanced mix of clinical care, surgical practice, teaching, and collaborative obstetrics within a high-volume academic environment.

Board-certified or eligible in OBGYN, you will collaborate in teaching, supervision of residents, and patient care, with OR privileges at two UAB hospitals and robotic options.

Job description

The University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) is seeking a fullscope Academic Generalist OBGYN to join our nationally recognized department. This role offers a balanced mix of clinical care, surgical practice, teaching, and collaborative obstetrics within a high volume academic environment.

Position Highlights

Fullscope OBGYN practice including outpatient continuity clinic
Resident supervision in the OBGYN resident clinic
OR privileges at two UAB academic hospitals; robotic surgery available
Highvolume L&D with midwives, MFM, and resident support. 24/7 support with in-house MFM, OB anesthesia, and neonatology
Inhouse call ~2 shifts/month with post-call day off
