Job summary

Eyemart Express in Owasso, OK is hiring an Optical Retail Sales Associate (Full Time). You will guide patients in selecting frames, lenses, and coatings tailored to their needs, delivering exceptional in-store service.

Responsibilities include staying informed about promotions, processing payments, educating patients on eyewear care, handling insurance claims, and maintaining confidential patient files. A high school diploma is required; optical experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Optical industry experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service.
• Stay informed about sales, promotions, and company policies.
• Process payments and refunds using our Point of Sale system.
• Educate patients on eyeglass care.
• Process insurance claims.
• Maintain up-to-date product knowledge.
• Create and manage patient files with confidentiality in mind.
• Interpret prescription requirements.
• Take measurements, prepare work orders, and inspect final products for accuracy.
• Adjust and repair frames as needed.
• Price, stock, and organize merchandise.
