Job summary

Porters Neck Village is seeking a hospitality-focused Environmental Services Technician to perform housekeeping, laundry, annual cleaning, trash pickup and other cleaning duties across the community. The position is full-time, Monday–Friday, 8am–4:30pm, at $17.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
• Three to six months experience in housekeeping or janitorial position preferred.
• Valid drivers license with satisfactory driving record.
• Satisfactory background check, drug screen, and TB test.

Responsibilities

• Exemplify at all times Community standards of cleanliness, sanitation and organization.
• Perform a variety of housekeeping and laundry functions to maintain a clean, attractive environment for residents.
• Perform scheduled cleaning duties such as restrooms, dusting, furniture cleaning, trash disposal, blinds, windows, mirrors and fixtures.
• Complete work orders as assigned.
• Conduct annual cleaning of residential units and common areas behind appliances and heavy structures.
• Maintain cleanliness of floors, stairways, entrances and exits.
• Clean flooring including sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, and use of refinishes/strippers and tile/grout cleaning.
• Assist with collecting soiled laundry in assigned units.
• Ensure patio tables, umbrellas, benches, etc. are clean throughout the community.
• Fill in for housekeeping as needed.

Porters Neck Village is recruiting for a hospitality focused Environmental Services Technician to join our team! This position is responsible for performing housekeeping, laundry, annual cleaning, trash pick up and other general cleaning duties throughout the community.

Full-Time position, 8am-4:30pm Monday - Friday, $17.00/hr.

Here are a few of the daily responsibilities of an EVS Technician:
