Job summary

AMR in Florida is hiring Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs) to respond to emergency and non-emergency medical requests and deliver high-quality care, treatment and customer service to patients.

Starting pay rate is $15.90+ DOE for full-time EMTs. Responsibilities include patient assessment, determining care, documenting information, and maintaining a safe, clean environment while collaborating with allied health and public safety personnel.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• State Driver’s License required.
• National or state EMT certification required.
• CPR/BLS certifications required.
• Clean driving record and ability to pass agility test.
• Some healthcare work experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients, determine care needs and deliver emergency services.
• Document patient information and treatment while protecting confidentiality.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and well-stocked patient care environment.
• Utilize EMT skills with communications, equipment and procedures.
• Operate an ambulance in line with safety policies and traffic laws.
• Collaborate with allied health and public safety personnel.
