Job summary

Paramount Consulting in Fort Wayne, IN is hiring an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT). This full-time position covers 12- or 24-hour shifts in Allen County and pays $18.00–$20.25 per hour, with a 48-hour work week.

EMTs will provide emergency medical care, patient assessment, and transportation while following protocols and maintaining confidentiality. Required credentials include Indiana EMT certification, CPR, a valid driver’s license, and a high school diploma or GED.

Qualifications

• Must have valid State EMT certification.
• Current CPR certification.
• Current and valid Driver's License.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• No more than 2 accidents/moving violations in the last 3 years.

Responsibilities

• Safe operation of ambulances and equipment.
• Provide basic life support and transport for patients.
• Deliver emergency medical treatment per protocols and confidentiality rules.
• Prepare inventories, stock supplies, and inspect equipment.
