Job summary

American Medical Response (AMR) in Richmond, VA is seeking a full-time Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) to respond to emergency and non-emergency requests and deliver high-quality care and customer service to patients.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• State EMT license is required.
• State driver’s license is required.
• BLS and NREMT certifications are required.
• Driving record must comply with company policy.
• Must pass Physical Agility Test.
• Some healthcare work experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• EMTs provide patient assessment and determine required care, delivering emergency services.
• Document patient information, condition, and treatment while maintaining confidentiality and patient rights.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and well-stocked environment for patients.
• Utilize EMT skills for care, including communications, equipment, cleaning procedures, and office tools.
