You will develop engaging lesson plans, foster an inclusive classroom, assess student progress, and collaborate with a supportive team to help students thrive.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education or related field required.
• Valid teaching certification for Michigan required.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Experience teaching elementary students preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that meet diverse learners.
• Foster a positive and respectful classroom environment.
• Regularly assess and track student progress, providing feedback to students and parents.
• Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff.
• Participate in professional development and weekly staff meetings (Wednesdays 4:00 PM–5:30 PM).
• Uphold Concord Academy’s values of respect, responsibility, and excellence.
