Qualifications

• Master’s degree from an accredited institution is preferred.
• Relevant work experience or education may be substituted to satisfy minimum qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Plan individually or cooperatively a program of study that meets the diverse needs and abilities of students.
• Assist in establishing curriculum objectives and development of the plan for implementation and evaluation.
• Create a classroom environment conducive to learning and appropriate to student maturity and interests.
• Guide learning toward curriculum goals and communicate objectives for lessons and projects.
• Employ instructional methods and materials appropriate for meeting stated objectives.
• Assess student progress and provide reports as required.
• Maintain accurate records and comply with laws and district policies.
• Support school improvement initiatives and participate in school activities and programs.
