Job summary

Le Jardin Community is seeking an Education Floater in Florida City, FL to provide responsive teaching and a structured learning environment for children birth to five under HSPPS guidelines. The role supports Curriculum Specialist, maintains data in Child Plus and ATI Galileo, and helps with planning meaningful activities.

The position requires a National CDA or higher in Early Childhood, 45 hours DCF training, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• National CDA in Infant/Toddler or Preschool, or higher.
• 45 hours DCF training completed.
• Ability to communicate information clearly, both orally and in writing.
• Ability to lift children and objects up to 40 lbs.
• Must complete specified coursework within 2–3 months.

Responsibilities

• Enter data into Child Plus and ATI Galileo databases.
• Assist Curriculum Specialist and teaching team with assessments and planning.
• Input assessment scores and prepare classroom reports.
• Plan extracurricular activities, trainings, workshops and meetings.
• Support teaching staff with children who have challenging behaviors.
• Assist in recruiting volunteers and provide guidance.
• Maintain files and documentation confidentially.
• Attend center, parent and staff meetings when needed.
