Job summary

New Horizon Academy Champlin in Champlin, MN is seeking a Childcare Teacher to join our team in the Infants, Preschool, Float, or School Age classrooms. This full-time role offers an hourly wage range of $20.55 to $25.30 with a $2,000 hiring bonus.

You must be reliable, have at least 16 qualifying credits to qualify as a Teacher under MN Rule 3, and be able to work about 40 hours per week. Previous childcare experience is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Meets or exceeds state qualifications for the listed position.
• Has a passion for working with young children.
• Interest in beginning or continuing their education in early childhood education or a related field.
• Can satisfy the Applicant Background Study required by state regulations.
• Has documentation of U.S. citizenship or eligibility to work in the U.S.
• Has the physical abilities to perform the required job duties with or without accommodations.
