Job summary

Growing Futures Early Education Center in Overland Park, KS is hiring a Full Time Teacher to collaborate on delivering a developmentally appropriate curriculum for the classroom and to work on a teaching team across Head Start and Early Head Start programs. This role provides initial and ongoing training, with paid training opportunities and benefits.

Qualifications include a High School Diploma, and an Associate or Bachelor’s in Early Childhood or related field, with CDA within 2 years

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; CDA within 2 years encouraged.
• Associates or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood, Child Development or related field with 18 credit hours in early childhood preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality early learning support and continuity of care to help children develop secure relationships.
• Attend and participate in training, engage in coaching with your supervisor and develop plans for your own professional development.
• Create home/school connections by developing effective partnerships with families.
