Job summary

Palmer Food Services in Rochester, NY is hiring a Dishwasher for a full-time position. You will maintain cleanliness across the facility, from floors to restrooms, and support daily operations with reliable service and adherence to company standards.

Responsibilities include following a daily checklist, washing dishes, and helping with light cleaning tasks around entrances, parking areas and breakrooms, ensuring a professional image and quality customer experience.

Qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Follow Daily Checklist.
• Clean facility floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing or vacuuming.
• Clean all entry doors, windows and surroundings.
• Collect garbage and cardboard and process.
• Check breakroom and guest restrooms at fixed times and take proper action if needed.
• Maintain scullery area including washing of all dishes, pans, etc.
• Service, meticulously clean, disinfect and supply restrooms.
• Spot clean walls, doors, door frames, spills on floor, etc.
• Clean breezeway area prior to opening.
• Maintain outside parking lot to keep it clean and cart-free.
• Maintain outside dumpster area to ensure cleanliness around the dumpster area.
• Engage in seasonal and special cleaning projects (e.g., shoveling, umbrellas, salting).
• Dispose of garbage, cardboard, etc. properly.
• Clean, organize and assist with other items as assigned by Manager on Duty.
• Present a professional image to internal/external customers and vendors with appropriate dress and good grooming.
