Responsibilities

• Scrapes and rinses food from dirty dishes and washes them by hand or places them in racks or on conveyor to dishwashing machine depending on assigned equipment.
• Washes pots, pans and trays according to procedures and maintains cleanliness.
• Polishes silver using machine and chemicals as required, ensuring sanitation.
• Ensures compliance with safety procedures and maintains proper temperatures and chemical levels.
• Keeps dish area neat and safe and mops/sweeps as needed.
• Transfers supplies between storage and work areas and assists with unloading.
