Job summary

Orchard Valley Golf Course in Aurora, IL, part of Troon, is hiring a full-time Dishwasher to join a fast-paced, chef-driven kitchen environment. You will be responsible for washing, sanitizing, and organizing dishware while supporting a clean and safe kitchen team.

Experience in a restaurant or kitchen is preferred; reliable attendance and ability to stand for extended periods are required. Medical, dental, and vision benefits accompany a strong team atmosphere and opportunities for growth

Qualifications

• Previous restaurant or kitchen experience preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift kitchen equipment or supplies as needed.

Responsibilities

• Clean, sanitize, and properly store dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment.
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, dish area, walk-ins, dry storage, and prep areas.
• Sweep and mop kitchen floors throughout shifts and at closing.
• Empty trash and recycling receptacles and properly dispose of waste.
• Assist with daily and deep-cleaning tasks, including shelving, steam tables, hoods, and kitchen equipment.
• Support the culinary team by maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment.
• Follow all food safety and sanitation procedures.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by kitchen leadership.
