Job summary

A leading nonprofit organization in New York is seeking a dedicated individual to assist residents with daily living activities and provide habilitation services. The ideal candidate will ensure a clean and safe environment, communicate effectively with medical professionals, and have a respectful attitude towards the residents served. An H.S. Diploma or GED is required, with a preference for an Associate’s degree and experience in Human Services. A valid driver's license and AMAP certification are necessary for this role.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year experience in Human Services required.
• Must pass AMAP certification training and maintain valid certification.

Responsibilities

• Ensure a safe, clean, and normalized home-like environment.
• Provide habilitation services as per clients' service plans.
• Assist individuals with daily living activities.
• Communication with medical professionals.
• Participate in interdisciplinary treatment meetings.
