Job summary

Holy Angels in Belmont, NC, seeks a Direct Support Professional for 1st shift (7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.). Starting pay is $13.50 per hour with increases based on experience.

The role includes providing nursing care and assisting with activities of daily living for residents under an individualized plan of care. Responsibilities include accurate documentation in a web-based system, adherence to policies, and support in physical therapy activities.

Qualifications

• HS/GED required; minimum age 21; experience using a computer.
• Preferred: experience with Intellectual Developmental Disabilities; CNA I; College of Direct Support.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care activities for residents per their care plan.
• Assist with activities of daily living (bath time, meal time).
• Document accurately using a web-based system per Holy Angels policy and state/federal regulations.
• Perform activities in physical therapy and range of motion.

Looking for a Direct Support Professional- 1 st Shift to start ASAP!

Basic Schedule: Full-time position; 80 hour bi-weekly schedule (with every other weekend); 1st Shift, 7:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.

Basic Job Description/Responsibilities for Direct Support Professional:

• Provide nursing care activities for assigned residents, according to their individualized plan of care.
• Assisting with activities of daily living (bath time, meal time, etc.)
• Provide accurate documentation using a web-based record keeping system as required by Holy Angels policy and in compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Perform activities in the area of physical therapy and range of motion.

Required Job Skills/Experience:

HS/GED; minimum age 21, experience using a computer.

Preferred Job Skills/Experience:

Experience working with individuals with Intellectual Developmental Disabilities,CNA I; College of Direct Support.

Beginning Pay for This Role:

$13.50 per hour!!! Rates increase based upon experience!
