Oaknoll is currently seeking a full-time Dining Room Lead. Some flexibility in scheduling is necessary, including the ability to work weekends and holidays when needed. The ideal candidate will display effective communication skills, emotional maturity under stress, as well as exceptional judgement and customer service skills. The Dining Room Lead is responsible for providing daily direction and support to our dining team members, including training and onboarding new employees, and ensuring smooth operation of our dining services. They will be expected to identify concerns with service, staffing, performance, food safety, or other operational issues, report those concerns to the Director of Dining Services, and support resolving those concerns while maintaining consistent dining standards. The Dining Room Lead assists with special dining events and other community functions, and steps in to support during staffing shortages or unexpected absences in either food preparation, cooking, or serving roles as necessary to ensure continuity of service.
