Job summary

Spring Valley Health and Rehabilitation in Missouri is seeking a Full-time Dietary Aide to support resident nutrition needs and contribute to a clean, organized kitchen. You will prepare food trays, deliver meals, maintain the tray line, and assist with special diets under the Dietary Manager’s guidance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• 1 year of experience preferred.
• Ability to read, write and speak English.
• Good communication skills.
• Professional demeanor.
• Maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food trays for general and therapeutic diets.
• Deliver meals to resident care units or residents.
• Maintain tray line in a clean, neat, and organized manner.
• Prepare special diet foods as necessary.
• Deliver food carts to patient care units. Return carts to kitchen at designated times.
• Load and oversee dishwashers and log wash/rinse temperatures.
