Job summary

Traders Point Dental is seeking a passionate Dental Hygienist to join our team in Indiana. You will provide preventative care, educate patients on oral health, and work closely with dentists to deliver exceptional care in a collaborative environment.

The ideal candidate holds a current Indiana dental hygiene license and an associate’s or bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene. Experience with Velscope, Diagnodent, digital x-rays, and EMR systems is preferred, with a commitment to ongoing

Qualifications

• Current dental hygienist license in IN
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene (where required)
• Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, patient screening and medical history documentation
• Open to new graduate or years of clinical experience
• Experience with Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays and EMR systems
• Desire to continue learning and grow clinical skills
• TB test is required for all new hires in dental office positions

Responsibilities

• Provide preventative dental care and patient education.
• Assist dentists during treatments.
• Maintain patient records and medical histories.

Current dental hygienist license in IN and an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene (where required)

Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, dental patient screening and medical history documentation

Open to new graduate or years of clinical experience

Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays and electronic medical record systems

Desire to continue learning and grow clinical skills to meet needs of patients and provide preventative care and overall maintenance of patients’ dental health

Clinical needs as required by office

Availability to attend virtual training sessions (or in-person)periodically throughout the year
