Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Dental Assistant
• Maryland x-ray certification active
• Knowledge of dental instruments, equipment, and infection control protocols
• Dentrix experience preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-focused approach
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn and grow

Responsibilities

• Help patients feel comfortable and confident during visits
• Prepare patients for treatment and assist doctors and hygienists during procedures
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sterile clinical environment
• Escort patients to and from the front desk and support a smooth patient experience
• Prepare and organize instrument trays and treatment rooms
• Monitor supplies and assist with ordering/restocking
• Follow infection control, sterilization, and safety protocols
• Perform additional duties as assigned
