L R Smiles of Marietta LLC is actively seeking a passionate and skilled Full Time Dental Assistant to join our growing team in Marietta, GA. This role offers the chance to work in a patient-focused practice where your expertise will improve patients' smiles daily.

Responsibilities include assisting the dentist chairside across various procedures, sterilizing rooms, taking X-rays, and maintaining dental software records. A positive, patient-first attitude and strong teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Prior dental assisting experience required.
• Knowledge of dental terminology and chairside techniques.
• RDA certification or equivalent is a plus.
• Radiology certification or willingness to obtain upon hire.
• Familiarity with dental software (Open Dental) is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Assist the dentist chairside during procedures including fillings, extractions, crown prep, Ceric crowns scanning, and implants.
• Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and treatment rooms between patients.
• Take and develop dental X-rays as directed by the dentist.
• Record patient medical histories and treatment notes in dental software.
• Educate patients on post-procedure care and proper oral hygiene techniques.
• Manage inventory of dental supplies and assist with ordering as needed.
• Provide a welcoming, calm experience for patients throughout their visit.
