Job summary

Slicker Trucking Inc. is hiring for a FedEx Delivery Driver in Youngstown, OH. This is a permanent, full-time position with benefits, based at the front door of package delivery.

We operate as a top FedEx Ground contractor with a contracted area and a strong team. The role requires reliable, safe driving and customer service excellence. The successful candidate will handle 50 lb packages daily, 21+ years old, pass a drug screen and DOT physical, and maintain a clean driving record.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of professional truck driving experience.
• FedEx or Amazon experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Read and organize packages by label/number.
• Regularly lift and load large packages up to 50 lbs+.
• Deliver to 120-150+ stops per day and follow turn-by-turn maps.
• Be ready to get in and out of the truck for deliveries while maintaining safety and customer service.

Slicker Trucking Inc. is moving quickly on a new growth. We have immediate placement for RELIABLE full-time, permanent, FedEx Delivery Drivers.

This job is front door package delivery- but we offer something more! We are a TOP FEDEX GROUND CONTRACTOR with a new contracted area that has been at the Richfield Terminal for almost 20 years and are continuing to GROW. We have an excellent team environment with friendly employees who are eager to provide the best service for our customers.

Mandatory Requirements:

• 2-5 years of experience in professional truck driving (Large Truck Delivery, Landscape, Mover etc.)
• FedEx or Amazon experience is a plus!
• MUST BE 21 YEARS OLD
• Clean Driving Record
• Ability to pass a Drug Screen (including marijuana) and DOT Physical
• Clear Background Check; 7-year search

Job Requirements:

• Commit to a regular 5-6 day schedule
• Read and organize packages by label/number
• Ability to regularly lift, bend, carry and load LARGE packages 50lbs+
• Follow directions and turn-by-turn maps
• Ability to regularly get in and out of a truck for deliveries (120-150+ delivery stops per day)
• Careful in approach to driving and dealing with customers
• Responsible for Commercial Vehicle and Equipment provided
