Job summary

Las Vegas Rescue Mission is hiring a Full Time Driver to handle pickups and deliveries of donated goods, including furniture, clothing, and food, in the Las Vegas and Henderson area. Duties include maintaining schedules, vehicle checks, safe loading/unloading, and professional donor relations.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, a valid Nevada driver's license, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Evening, weekend or holiday shifts may be required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Valid Nevada State Driver License with a clean driving record.
• Subject to criminal and DMV/DOL background check.

Responsibilities

• Reviews schedule of pick-ups and deliveries on a daily basis.
• Update and maintain regular communication regarding changes to route or donations.
• Perform daily vehicle checks (tires, lights, brakes, gas, oil, water) and report issues.
• Load and unload vehicle using necessary resources to prevent injuries/damage.
• Place donated items in designated areas and report valuable donations.
