84 Lumber Company is hiring a full-time Truck Driver to deliver building materials to customer sites and keep the lumber yard organized. You will operate a forklift, load and unload shipments, and ensure safety protocols are followed throughout the shift.

You must be 21+, have a valid CDL or non-CDL CMV eligibility as applicable, provide an annual MVR, and communicate clearly with dispatch and customers. The role supports a team-oriented, safety-conscious work environment in Uniontown, KY.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years old or older.
• Read and speak English well to communicate with customers and colleagues.
• Provide (on an annual basis) a copy of your Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) and any required violations list per FMCSA.
• Be physically qualified to drive a commercial motor vehicle per FMCSA.
• Not be disqualified to drive a CMV per FMCSA.
• Complete a driver's road test and hold a valid certificate for road test.
• Some trucks/haulers may require a CDL.
• Some roles may require a Medical Exam certificate or card.

Responsibilities

• Deliver material to customer job sites and unload freight.

• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized lumber yard and warehouse.
• Communicate delays or discrepancies with management.

Responsibilities

The full-time Truck Driver is responsible for delivering material to customer job sites, forklift operation, and maintaining the lumber yard and warehouse. Must have a valid state-issued driver’s license and safe driving record. Responsibilities include:

• Building loads for delivery and unloading freight including lumber and building supplies
• Forklift training, certification, and operation
• Maintaining a safe, clean and well-organized lumber yard and warehouse
• Communicating delays or discrepancies with management

Qualifications

Be at least 21 years old.

• Read and speak the English language sufficiently to converse with the general public, understand highway traffic signs and signals, respond to official inquiries, and make entries on reports and records.
• Safely operate the assigned commercial motor vehicle.
• Provide (on an annual basis) a true and correct copy of your Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) and a list of violations or the certificate as required by the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Act.
• Be physically qualified to drive a commercial motor vehicle in accordance with the requirements of the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Act
• Not be disqualified to drive a commercial motor vehicle under the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Act.
• Complete or have completed a driver's road test and has been issued a valid and current certificate of driver's road test, or its equivalent, in accordance with the requirements of the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Act.
• Depending on the truck and/or hauler, you may be required to have a commercial motor vehicle license
• Depending on the truck and/or hauler, you may be required to have a valid and current Medical Exam certificate or card.
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
