Harris Teeter in Aldie, VA is seeking a full-time retail associate to deliver exceptional customer service and knowledge about products. You will perform stocking, packaging and prep tasks while maintaining store standards and assisting customers.

The role requires high school diploma or GED, ability to read and write English, and physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Training and team collaboration are emphasized as part of everyday duties.

This is a full time position. Primary responsibility is to Take Excellent Care Of Our Customers by satisfying each customer.s needs and exceeding their expectations. This requires a defined level of product knowledge, food preparation skills, sales ability, customer relations skills, and cooperation with fellow associates to create An Incredible Place To Work and Shop. Responsible for preparing, processing, packaging, and stocking products according to Fresh Foods Standards. Also responsible for providing customer service, cleaning work areas, unloading stock, and reloading salvage products according to Fresh Foods Standards.

Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations. CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS. Complete Company's training including but not limited to: new hire orientation, food sanitation, customer service network, safety, food safety, and product knowledge. PHYSICAL DEMANDS. Compensation

• Pay Transparency: Harris Teeter reasonably expects to pay between $15.25/hour and $23.00/hour for this role as a newly hired associate. Pay may depend on previous experience and skill sets of the applicant.

You will be eligible for Harris Teeter’s group benefit plans that pertain to your position upon the completion of applicable waiting periods. Your eligibility for these benefits is subject to the terms of the applicable plan and Harris Teeter policy.
