Job summary

Johnson Brothers is seeking a dedicated Warehouse Worker to join our wine and spirits distribution team in Charlotte, NC. You will receive, store, and pick products in a fast-paced environment, using scanning devices and a Warehouse Management System to ensure accuracy and compliance.

Responsibilities include restocking locations, pallet handling, operating manual and power equipment, completing forklift certification, and meeting safety standards while maintaining orderly inventories and timely

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• 2+ years warehouse experience preferred.
• Ability to operate scanning devices and warehouse equipment.

• Receiving product from suppliers and verifying inventory with scanners.
• Put away inbound pallets in racked and bulk locations.
• Replenish locations for order picking.
• Use Warehouse Management System to locate and account for products.
• Remove damaged products following procedures and safety rules.
• Safely operate manual and power equipment; complete forklift certification.
• Perform order selection and ensure safe, accurate fulfillment.
• Follow all safety and cleanliness protocols.
• Perform other warehouse duties as assigned.

Job Description

Job Duties & Responsibilities

• Receiving product from suppliers - ensuring accuracy of incoming inventory using scanning devices
• Put away inbound pallets of freight in both racked and bulk locations.
• Replenish locations for selection.
• Utilize Warehouse Management System bar code scanning system to accurately account for and locate product.
• Ensure all damaged products are properly removed from inventory and handled in accordance with procedures.
• Safely operate and utilize manual and power equipment.
• Complete forklift certification program.
• Order selection following standard processes
• Follow all safety and cleanliness protocols
• Other warehouse duties and activities as assigned.

• Ability to safely lift 40-60 lbs. repeatedly.
