Job summary

Wallick Senior Living is hiring a Personal Care Assistant (PCA) in Toledo, OH. This full-time position runs 7am-3pm with pay of $16/hour plus shift differential. You will provide direct resident care as part of a team that supports independence, well-being, and quality of life for our residents.

Ideal candidates are organized, with a High School diploma or GED, CPR certification, and a willingness to obtain Nurse Aide certification. Prior experience in Assisted Living or Memory Care is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• CPR certification is preferred but not required.
• Nurse Aide Certification is a plus.
• Experience in an Assisted Living or Memory Care community is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional personal care to residents.
• Assist with bathing, grooming, dressing, and daily hygiene.
• Answer call lights promptly and respond to resident/family needs.
• Encourage resident participation in activities and events.
• Assist residents to and from activities, dining rooms, and other events.
• Perform lifting, turning, and repositioning as needed.
