Job Description

The New Hope-Solebury School District in New Hope, PA is seeking applicants for a Full-Time Custodian (Day Shift).This position assists in maintaininga clean, safe, and fully operational facility during active school hours. Key responsibilities include opening and securing the building, conducting routine cleaning and floor care, maintaining cafeterias during lunch periods, setting up school events, and assisting with building maintenance and seasonal snow removal. The position requires strong reliability, independent initiative, and courteous daily interaction with students, staff, and visitors.

Basic maintenance and repair skills are necessary.

The ability to work well on a team, follow instructions, and respond promptly to daytime facility needs are essential.

Lifting up to 50 pounds maximum and carrying objects up to 25 pounds.
