Job summary

Harris Teeter in Greenville, SC is seeking a full-time cashier to take excellent care of customers by meeting their needs and ensuring a pleasant shopping visit. The role requires operating the cash register accurately and providing services at the customer service counter.

Qualifications

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Must be at least 16 years of age.
Willingness to participate in required training and to work with the team to increase customer satisfaction and sales.
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos in English.
Ability to write simple correspondence in English.
Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, vendors, and other associates who speak English.

Responsibilities

Operate cash register accurately and efficiently.
Provide services at the customer service counter.
Maintain security and control of all funds in the cash register.
Perform duties of floor monitor when not on-duty and assist as cashier/bagger when needed.
