Job summary

Jubitz-Corporation in Portland is seeking a customer-focused deli associate to greet customers, answer questions, operate the cash register, and make change while maintaining high standards of freshness and sanitation.

You will slice meat and cheese, prep a variety of items, sell and upsell deli products, rotate displays, and assist with additional duties as directed by supervisors. This is a full-time position with competitive wages and benefits.

Qualifications

• One year of food service experience preferred.
• Must obtain Oregon Food Handler's Card within 30 days of hire.
• Must be 18 years of age or older to apply.
• Able to deliver friendly, courteous, and prompt customer service.
• Experience operating a cash register and counting change to customers is required.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and respond to questions.
• Operate the cash register and make change.
• Slice meat and cheese on slicers and prep items.
• Create, sell, and upsell deli items.
• Maintain high standards for product freshness and sanitation.
