TJ Maxx in Newport KY is hiring for a front-of-store supervisor to lead a team of associates and ensure an excellent customer experience. You will model outstanding service, promote loyalty programs, and manage daily tasks to keep the store organized and efficient.

Responsibilities include training staff on front-end operations, coordinating break coverage, and communicating priorities to management. The role requires adaptability, merchandising know-how, and a collaborative, team-focused

Qualifications

• 1 year retail experience and 6 months of leadership experience.
• Strong communication and organizational skills with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Trains and mentors Associates on front end principles and personalizing customer experience.
• Assigns registers, supports POS coverage, and coordinates breaks for all Associates.
• Communicates priorities with management and staff and provides progress updates.
• Adheres to labor laws, policies, and procedures; promotes safety and loss-prevention efforts.
• Promotes and supports credit and loyalty programs; assists in achieving store goals.

Responsible for promoting an excellent customer experience. Oversees a team of Associates at front of store ensuring prompt, courteous customer service and promotion of loyalty programs. Leads by example by engaging and interacting with all customers, and maintaining a clean and organized store. Role models outstanding customer service.

• Creates a positive internal and external customer experience
• Promotes a culture of honesty and integrity; maintains confidentiality
• Takes an active role in training and mentoring Associates on front end principles
• Trains and coaches Associates on personalizing the customer experience while promoting loyalty programs
• Assigns registers, supports and responds to POS coverage needs, and coordinates breaks for all Associates
• Addresses customer concerns and issues promptly, ensuring a positive customer experience
• Ensures Associates execute tasks and activities according to store plan; prioritizes as needed
• Communicates accurately and effectively with management and Associates when setting and addressing priorities; provides progress updates
• Provides and accepts recognition and constructive feedback
• Partners with Management on Associate training needs to increase effectiveness
• Ensures adherence to all labor laws, policies, and procedures
• Promotes credit and loyalty programs
• Supports and participates in store shrink reduction goals and programs
• Promotes safety awareness and maintains a safe environment
• Other duties as assigned
