Job summary

The Quincy Kroc Center, operated by The Salvation Army, is seeking a dependable full-time Custodian to join our facilities team. You will keep the building clean, safe, and welcoming for members, guests, staff, and program participants of all ages, performing detailed cleaning and upkeep across a large community center.

Responsibilities include following cleaning procedures, reporting safety hazards, and supporting events and seasonal needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Two years of custodial or cleaning experience preferred.
• Ability to read and understand cleaning instructions and safety materials.
• Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated work style.
• Ability to work independently while also collaborating with a team.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain all areas of the facility.
• Follow cleaning procedures, schedules, and safety guidelines.
• Identify and report safety hazards or maintenance needs.
• Use cleaning equipment safely and effectively.
• Support events and seasonal facility needs as assigned.
