Job summary

Responsibilities

• Performs CT exams on patients according to departmental procedures under the Medical Director.
• Prepares equipment to ensure it is operational, safe and functioning to diagnostic standards.
• Troubleshoots equipment failures and imaging quality; contacts service representative or CES as needed.
• Ensures daily equipment and room maintenance and applies infection control precautions.
• Completes quality checks and maintains equipment logs.
• Prepares clinical supply inventories to ensure each diagnostic room has necessary supplies.

• Problem‐solves equipment failure and imaging quality and contacts service representative or CES regarding equipment problems


• Ensures that daily equipment and room maintenance are performed during/ after each procedure, and that special precautions and measures are performed to ensure infection control standards.


• Completes all quality checks and Ensures that equipment logs are maintained


• Completes all clinical supply inventories, ensuring that each diagnostic room is complete with the necessary supplies required to perform the procedure.

Licensure and Certifications

• Registered Technologist Computed Tomography (RTCT) within 9 months

Where You'll Work

St. Luke's Health - Patients Medical Center provides inpatient and outpatient medical and surgical services to residents of Pasadena, Deer Park, La Porte, Baytown, and Clear Lake. The facility includes 53 medical/surgical beds, eight ICU beds and three endoscopy rooms, and offers a range of primary and specialized services—wound care, general surgery, gastroenterology, occupational health, heart and vascular, women’s services, diagnostic imaging, outpatient rehab services, and sleep disorders.

Pay Range

$36.51- $60.24/hourly
