Job summary

Cone Health Medical Group in Fayetteville, NC seeks an experienced Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist to deliver anesthesia care within the anesthesia service. You will collaborate with surgical teams, contribute to perioperative management, and uphold patient safety across cases.

The position offers sign-on bonuses up to $100,000 with a 4-year commitment, new compensation at the 90th percentile based on national data, and generous benefits including 40 days of annual vacation and tuition

Qualifications

Graduate of a nurse anesthesia educational program accredited by the Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Educational Programs or its predecessor.

Responsibilities

Provide anesthesia care per clinical privileges and supervise CRNA duties.
Assist with collecting, reviewing, and evaluating patient data for planned procedures.
Maintain a safe environment and respond to emergencies and safety hazards.
Prepare and administer medications and fluids per safe practice standards.
Monitor airway, anesthesia depth, fluid status, and physiologic response to anesthesia for patient safety.
Complete required documentation: surgical safety checklist, pre-operative assessment, intra-operative anesthetic record, transfer-of-care note.
Log incidents in the computerized Safety Portal.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Essential Job Function

Clinical responsibilities of the CRNA are delineated by his or her clinical privileges.
Assists with collecting, reviewing, and evaluating all data pertinent to the patient‘s medical and surgical history, with consideration of the planned procedure.
Maintains a safe environment and responds appropriately to emergencies and safety hazards.
Prepares and administers medications and fluids in accordance with accepted standards of safe practice.
Supports with maintaining constant vigilance with ongoing assessment of airway, depth of anesthesia, fluids status, and physiologic response to anesthesia to ensure patient safety.
Helps complete all required documentation: the surgical safety checklist, the pre-operative assessment, the intra-operative anesthetic record, and the transfer-of-care note.
Logs incident reporting in the computerized Safety Portal.
Performs other duties as assigned.

Education
