Job summary

FedEx is seeking a FT Courier in the United States to operate company vehicles, deliver and pick up packages, and ensure service quality across routes. You will work on assigned routes within the station's service area and support customer service functions.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, 6 months courier experience preferred, ability to lift up to 50 lbs with or without assistance, and good English reading/speaking for traffic and safety communications.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Six (6) months courier experience preferred.
• Must be able to demonstrate area knowledge.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. and handle packages over 50 lbs with equipment or assistance.
• Good human relations and verbal communication skills.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Ability to read and speak English sufficiently for traffic signs and official inquiries.

Responsibilities

• Operates company vehicles and delivers and picks up packages with courtesy and efficiency.
• Checks shipments for conformance to FedEx service features.
• Provides coverage for all assigned routes within the station's service area.
• Performs related customer service functions as needed.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
