Job summary

Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA seeks Full-time Flex Houseparents couples to live in on-campus homes and care for 8–13 students. You will supervise, mentor, manage routines, and support wellness while fostering academic, emotional, and social growth.

Responsibilities include driving, planning activities, leading devotions, and coordinating budgeting. Candidates must be married 2+ years, age 27+, with high school diploma or GED.

Qualifications

• Experience working or volunteering with youth.
• Two-person couples role and marriage requirements.
• Age 27+ for both spouses.
• No more than three dependent children in home.
• Smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty.
• Pet limitations: fish and one dog of approved breeds.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to drive student vans.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Integrity and professionalism as role models.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily supervision and mentorship for students.
• Manage household routines and student schedules.
• Administer medications and monitor student health.
• Drive students to activities and plan developmentally-focused events.
• Lead daily devotions and accompany students to Sunday Chapel.
• Oversee budgeting and household reporting.
