Job summary

St. Francis Healthcare Center in Hayward, CA is seeking a Full-Time Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our rehabilitation team.

You will provide occupational therapy treatments under the supervision of a licensed OT and help patients regain independence. We offer $55-$60 per hour based on experience, plus comprehensive benefits including medical, dental and vision insurance, PTO, paid holidays, retirement plan and continuing education opportunities in a supportive team

Qualifications

• Current Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license in good standing.
• Current state licensure.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience in skilled nursing or rehabilitation is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy treatments under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist.
• Assist in implementing individualized treatment plans.
• Document patient progress accurately and timely.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
• Educate patients and families on therapy techniques and home exercise programs.
