Qualifications

• Must have ability to perform basic arithmetic, understand measurements and follow written and oral instructions.
• Cook experience preferred but not required. A willingness to learn is needed.
• Solid communication skills, attention to detail and multi-tasking skills.
• Ability to read, write and speak English sufficient to perform job duties and to interact and communicate with residents, vendors and team members.

Responsibilities

• Prepare meals for residents in accordance with regulatory guidelines and menu plans.
• Ensure quality and temperature of food items are within safety standards.
• Maintain sanitary conditions and comply with all laws and company policies.
• Provide courteous customer service and build rapport with residents, families, visitors and team members.
