Job summary

Silverado Beverly Place is hiring cooks to blend culinary skill with heart for hospitality in a memory care setting. You’ll help craft nourishing meals that support the health and happiness of residents, while working within a team‑oriented kitchen culture.

You’ll prepare and serve meals, follow recipes and safety standards, and participate in ongoing training. Silverado offers competitive pay and benefits in a certified Great Place to Work environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least 1 year of experience in food preparation and cooking.
• Food Handlers Certificate from the County Department of Environmental Health.
• Knowledge of food safety regulations.
• Effective communicator in verbal and written English.
• Ability to read and follow menus and recipes, including substitutions.
• Willingness to work with individuals with Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia.
• Active role: walking, bending, lifting (up to 50 lbs.).
• Reliable transportation for attendance and punctuality.

Anticipated pay range

$19 - $23 USD
