Job summary

Freedom Square of Seminole, an upscale senior living community in Seminole, Florida, is seeking a personable line cook to join our Culinary Services team. You will provide full scope, hands-on production cooking, learning from world-class chefs, while adhering to our quality, appearance and diet guidelines.

Ideal candidates have at least one year of restaurant or senior living cooking experience, English communication, and basic arithmetic.

Qualifications

• Ability to understand and follow instructions in English and communicate effectively.
• Ability to perform simple arithmetic.
• Ability to understand measurements and conversions.
• Knowledge of kitchen equipment operations and maintenance.
• Minimum of one year restaurant/senior living or equivalent cooking experience.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to food quality, appearance and presentation standards at all times.
• Assist with serving of meals and ware washing as necessary.
• Produce and serve menu cycle programs compliant with local regulations and diets.
• Maintain all equipment and supplies in proper condition.

Our expert culinary team is looking for energetic individuals who enjoy working in a fast paced environment and have a desire to serve others. If you are detail oriented and customer service focused, we would love to hear from you! As a line cook, you will provide full scope, hands on production cooking in the Community Culinary Services Department, learning from our world‑class chefs! DUTIES:
