The ideal candidate is passionate about food safety, efficient meal preparation, and maintaining cleanliness in a fast-paced setting. You will work closely with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and consistent meal presentation.

Qualifications

• Previous dietary department or dietary aide experience is highly desirable.
• Proven food service or restaurant experience demonstrating knowledge of food handling and safety standards.
• Strong culinary skills including recipe adherence, meal preparation, and proper use of kitchen tools such as knives.
• Familiarity with food safety management practices and sanitation procedures.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate with kitchen staff and other team members.
• Experience in menu planning, food preparation, cooking, cleaning, and operating kitchen equipment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with menu planning and meal preparation, ensuring recipes are followed accurately for consistent quality.
• Prepare ingredients using proper knife skills and slicing techniques to optimize efficiency and safety.
• Operate kitchen equipment such as ovens, mixers, and food processors safely and effectively.
• Handle food with care, adhering strictly to food safety management protocols to prevent contamination.
• Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area by cleaning utensils, appliances, work surfaces, and storage areas regularly.
• Support catering events by preparing large quantities of food while maintaining presentation standards.
• Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to coordinate meal production and ensure timely service.
