The role involves preparing ingredients, assembling meals, and maintaining a sanitary kitchen while contributing to daily, holiday, and themed menus.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of cooking experience including food preparation
• Strong knowledge of cooking methods and safety/sanitation practices
• Exceptional food presentation skills
• Familiarity with general kitchen equipment and appliances
• Strong work ethic and high energy level

Responsibilities

• Provide customers with a pleasant dining experience
• Assemble, combine, and cook ingredients
• Maintain a sanitary kitchen
• Attend to detail and presentation of each order
• Place and expedite orders
• Prepare ingredients by following recipes (cutting, slicing, chopping, mixing)
• Complete hot meal preparation (grilling, sautéing, roasting, frying, broiling) and assemble cold items
• Adhere to food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures
• Maintain dating, labeling, and rotation of all food items
• Store leftovers according to standards
• Contribute to daily, holiday, and themed menus with the team
