Job summary

Bon Appétit Management Company in Santa Monica is seeking a full-time Cook to join our corporate dining team. You will prepare food to our standards, follow recipes, and ensure timely service for a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate has cooking and food safety experience; training is available. This full-time role runs Monday–Friday with hours that may vary, and opportunities to learn and grow within a nationally recognized program.

Qualifications

• Previous cooking and food safety experience in a fast-paced corporate dining environment is required.
• Willing to train.

Responsibilities

• Prepares high-quality food items according to standardized recipes and instructions to meet production, delivery and service schedules.
• Serves meals or prepares for delivery by using correct portioning and ensuring proper temperatures and presentation.
• Cleans kitchen after preparation and serving, maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safe handling procedures.
• Maintains proper storage and ordering records, and reports needed maintenance or accidents to the supervisor.
