Job summary

Eurest is hiring a full-time cook in Pennington, NJ. The position runs Monday through Friday, 6:30 am to 3:30 pm, with online applications accepted only. Experience in food service is preferred and training is available.

As a cook, you will prepare food according to recipes and standards, ensure correct temperatures and plating, and help with ordering, inventory, and maintaining HACCP compliance. You will contribute to a safe, clean kitchen and work with team members to deliver quality meals for

• Must be able to perform essential functions.
• Ability to work Monday–Friday 6:30 am–3:30 pm.

Responsibilities

• Prepares high-quality food items according to standardized recipes and instructions to meet production, delivery and service schedules.
• Serves meals or prepares for delivery by using correct portioning, meeting outlined standards, ensuring that food is at the correct temperature and is attractive and tasty.
• Uses established ticket collection procedures during service. Responsible for records from area worked during service periods.
• Maintains clean kitchen and stores or discards excess food per safe handling procedures.
• Follows HACCP standards and maintains proper presentation and temperatures; assists with ordering and receiving of supplies.
