Job summary

Sun Recruiting, Inc. is seeking a full-time Primary Care Physician in Pittsburgh, PA, to deliver comprehensive outpatient care in a community health setting. Monday–Friday, 8:00 am–4:30 pm with one evening shift; relocation assistance offered.

Competitive compensation of $200K–$220K per year plus a comprehensive benefits package. The role emphasizes patient-centered care, collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, and adherence to clinical best practices and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
Board Eligible or Board Certified in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine.
Active Pennsylvania medical license (or ability to obtain).
Experience in a community health or outpatient setting preferred.
Strong knowledge of clinical best practices, regulatory standards, and accreditation requirements.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and respond effectively in urgent situations.
Proficiency with EMR systems and general computer applications.
Proficiency in bilingual Spanish and English is required.

Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive outpatient primary care, including evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of acute and chronic conditions.
Perform complete physical exams and preventative care services.
Order and interpret laboratory tests and imaging (including X-rays, CTs, MRIs as appropriate).
Prescribe medications and coordinate referrals to specialists when needed.
Perform in-office procedures within scope of practice.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EHR.
Provide follow-up care and patient education to individuals and families.
Collaborate with behavioral health and other clinical teams to support integrated care.
Supervise and coordinate activities of clinical support staff as needed.
Participate in community health education initiatives.
Respond appropriately to medical emergencies within the clinical setting.
