Job summary

Mineral Community Hospital in Superior, MT, seeks a dedicated Medical Assistant to join our clinic team. The role combines clinical and administrative duties to support providers delivering patient-centered care in a rural community.

The schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm, with a base pay of $27.50 per hour. Qualifications include CMA or RMA certification, CPR/BLS, and completion of an accredited MA program.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• Certification as CMA or RMA.
• Basic computer literacy and EMR experience.

Responsibilities

• Take and record vital signs, height, weight, and patient history.
• Administer injections, immunizations, and perform CLIA-Waived lab tests.
• Maintain accurate information in the medical record.
• Assist providers with procedures.
• Prepare exam rooms and stock supplies.
• Monitor and manage provider schedules.
• Check patients in and out, verify insurance, and collect copays.
• Answer phone calls and respond to patient inquiries.
• Coordinate referrals and prior authorizations.

Education

Current CPR/BLS certification
