Job summary

City of Lincoln / Lancaster County is seeking a Community Corrections Case Manager (County) to oversee adult defendants within community corrections. The role involves managing a caseload, supervising compliance with court orders, and supporting rehabilitation initiatives.

The position supports the criminal justice process by enabling defendant community-based supervision to promote employment access and reduce jail overcrowding. Typical hours are full time, Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Qualifications

• Graduation from a four-year accredited college or university; or an associate degree (or 60 college credits) and at least two years of full-time criminal justice experience or two years full-time experience working with criminal justice involved individuals; or a high school diploma and six years of full-time experience in criminal justice or six years of full-time experience working with criminal justice involved individuals; or any equivalent combination of training and experience that provides the desirable knowledge, abilities and skills to meet the National Association of Pretrial Services Agencies (NAPSA) Accreditation Standards.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of adult defendants facing felony and misdemeanor charges.
• Monitor client compliance with court-ordered conditions.
• Contribute to rehabilitation and support strategies within community corrections.
