Gordon Food Service Store LLC is hiring a Full Time Commissary Associate in the Dayton/Trotwood area to support product preparation, receive shipments, and maintain clean, safe work areas.

You will operate basic equipment, assist with packaging, and uphold food safety standards. The role offers opportunities for advancement and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Minimum 1 year commissary or restaurant experience preferred.
• High school graduate or GED.
• Able to multitask and work alone or in a team.
• Basic math and computer skills.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Prepare product for Gordon Food Service Stores and maintain safety and quality.
• Accurately receive products and rotate stock; keep freezer and backroom organized.
• Operate basic equipment safely and maintain cleanliness of production areas.

Your main responsibilities will include preparing product for Gordon Food Service Stores while maintaining food safety, sanitation, food quality, and productivity.**Essential Functions of the job:*** Properly use, clean and maintain equipment to prepare and package product for sale, i.e. juice, sliced deli meat, produce, chicken, sandwiches, etc.* Accurately receive products, ensuring proper rotation and product quality, freezer, cooler and backroom organization.* Model excellent work ethic, display a sense of urgency and a positive attitude for peers.* Maintain facility through general maintenance and cleaning activities.* Abide by sanitary practices for food handling, general cleanliness, and maintenance of production areas.
