Job summary

Lexington Health, Inc. is seeking a certified nurse midwife to join Lexington Women's Care in the Columbia area. The role includes assessing patients, developing treatment plans, and providing comprehensive midwifery services within established protocols.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Nursing from an accredited college or university.
• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of South Carolina;
• Evidence of certification by an appropriate nationally recognized credentialing organization as a certified nurse midwife.

Responsibilities

• Assesses the physical and psychosocial status of patients and develops/implements a plan of management.
• Maintains a continuum of patient care across the health-illness continuum.
• Practice in accord with CNM protocols and standards of care.
• Provide patients with information on scope of mid-wifery services and patient rights.

Education

Master’s Degree in Nursing

Registered Nurse Licensure in South Carolina

Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) certification
